impressive estate is now owned by the Dauré family.
The small road that leads to the Château de Jau winds its
way through a majestic Mediterranean scenery where olive
trees, cypresses and vines share the territory.
The domain of Château de Jau is made up of a palette of
regions, a complex assembly of a hundred hectares of
vineyards, swept by the Tramontane and maritime winds in
the heart of Roussillon.
The Domaine du Château de Jau is also a place of exhibition
of contemporary art, unique in the area. Each summer, an
exhibition takes place at the Domaine where artists and art
lovers meets around the Grill.

40 years ago, the Château de Jau served its first meals to
wine lovers who wanted to “taste” the ‘terroir’ in order to
better understand what was in their glass.
In the plates, it is always the same simple and typical menu of
the Roussillon that match the wines of the estate.
