Today it’s workshop rolling the Catalan Côtes du Roussillon Villages bottle by hand at JAU!
Good news the 2020 vintage is available! This generous and gourmet Côtes du Roussillon Villages reflects all the richness of our terroir.
To begin with, it is a typical wine from our Catalan region, garnet colour, nose with aromas of jammy black fruits and spices, it is a round and powerful wine on the palate. Indeed, it goes perfectly with a Catalan carbonade, vegetable escalivade or grilled meat. Its vinification is traditional in red at controlled temperature accompanied by light pumping over.
As always, the Syrah brings spicy and vanilla notes. Also, the Grenache is very expressive and original with aromas of red fruits and cocoa. Finally, Mourvèdre and Carignan come to sublimate the assembly by bringing structure and complexity.
It is an excellent gift idea for fans of our region or precisely to help them discover and share our Catalan culture. You will also find all our emblems there: the blood and gold flag, the Canigou, the Catalan boats, the garnet, the sardanas ! A colorful gift !
