“The very rainy month of January 2020 made it possible to replenish the water reserves that had been abused during the previous vintage.
The record heat recorded in February and March led to very early bud break, 13 days ahead of the average for the last twenty years, while the spring rains generated the appearance of mildew.
The months of July and August were marked by drought and high temperatures.
During these exceptionally early harvests, requiring constant monitoring and responsiveness, we sought optimum maturity while guaranteeing the qualitative potential of the harvest. We have been rewarded with juices with promises of good quality, which are about to reveal wines that offer the perfect trilogy: elegance, freshness and complexity. A harvest lower than that of 2019 which was already the smallest harvest ever recorded. 2020, already a very special year in many respects, will therefore mark the spirits until the end”.
